First Spatial-Cell-ID Summer School

How to Get There

By Train: The closest railway station is Modane, which is well-connected to Lyon.

The SNCF route planner/reservation system has not yet been updated with the train connection between Lyon and Modane (via Chambéry). You can download the plan here

Shuttle Bus / Taxi: We will organize a dedicated shuttle bus from Modane station to the conference center.

  • Outbound: Departs Modane at 4:30 PM.
  • Return: Departs Aussois around 1:00 PM.

If you arrive outside of the shuttle schedule, local taxis are available at the station.

By Plane: The nearest major airports are:

  • Paris Airports (CDG/ORY): You can reach Chambéry from Paris via high-speed train (TGV) from the station located directly at Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or by connecting through central Paris stations.
  • Lyon-Saint Exupéry (LYS)
